About this item

A coffee mug thrown by hand on the wheel from stoneware clay, then glazed and fired. It holds the heat of a morning cup and sits well in the hand.

Because each mug is shaped by hand, no two are exactly alike.

Wash by hand or on the top rack of the dishwasher.

Avoid sudden changes in temperature, such as pouring boiling water into a cold mug.

Size, shape and glaze vary a little from mug to mug. That is the mark of the hand that made it.

Beautiful work. You can see the hammer marks, and it feels like it will outlast me.

Arrived well packed and even nicer in person than in the photos.

Lovely piece. It took me a few days to learn to cook on lower heat, but now I would not go back.

Well made, but the wait for a made-to-order piece was longer than I expected.
