Naturally grown or organic: your choice
Every herb we carry comes in two grades. Organic herbs come from growers certified to organic standards. Naturally Grown herbs come from growers who farm without synthetic chemicals but have not paid for certification.
Certification costs small farms a great deal of time and money, and it does not measure the things we care about most, like the health of the soil. Some of the best growers we know have chosen not to certify. We would rather offer you both and let you choose.
Tested every lot
Our herbs and teas come from a grower who lab tests every lot and grows without pesticides. You will see these marks on each herb page, under the buy panel: Lab tested, Sustainably grown and Pesticide free.
We only show a quality mark when the grower backs it with their own testing, so the marks on a page always match the herb in the pouch.
Packed by us, traceable to the lot
We pack every pouch ourselves and seal it to keep the herbs fresh from our shelf to yours. Each pouch carries a lot number and a code you can scan, so you always know which batch you received and where to learn more about it.
Good herbs, honestly described. That is the whole idea.
